Kumandra is an Earth-like world, created by dragons and divided into five kingdoms, which revered dragons and lived in harmony with. The world was threatened by monsters called Druun, and the dragons decided to sacrifice their lives to save humanity, bringing them a very powerful but also dangerous gift: a dragon that would be their guard. Five hundred years later, the Druuns return and kill Benja, ruler of the Heartlands, who leaves behind a daughter, the aspiring warrior Raya. With her father dead, Raya decides to go in search of the last dragon.
